It’s that time of year again, and I LOVE it! Time to get out the Christmas decorations and start decking the halls with these pink Christmas tree decor ideas.

I love to get creative and try something different with our tree. This time, I decorated our white tree with blush pink flowers, feathers, ribbon and ornaments, and it turned out just the way I always pictured it. In this post, I’m sharing all my favorite ways to do it, from choosing pretty ornaments to adding bows and a little gold. Prepare Your Living Room

If you want your living room to look its best for Christmas, take some time to prepare it in advance. I personally don’t enjoy this part (LOL)! Matt always helps me rearrange the furniture in the living room. We usually like to place our Christmas tree right in the middle of the living room, in front of the fireplace.

Big space or small space, I always start by decluttering and putting away anything that doesn’t belong. The room feels bigger right away. Next, give the room a good deep clean so you’re not decorating on top of dust.

You have two main options for a glam Christmas tree: an artificial tree or a real one. Artificial trees have come a long way, and the good ones look so close to the real thing.

Real trees are natural and smell so good, but they take more care and don’t last as long as an artificial tree. So, which one should you choose? Here are a few things to think about:

If you want a tree that looks real but is less messy, go with an artificial tree. Some of the options out there now, I like even more than real trees!
If you want a more sustainable option, go with a real tree. Just choose one that is grown responsibly and recycle it when the season is over.
If easy care is your main concern, an artificial tree is the better choice. No water, no needles everywhere, and you can use it year after year.

I’m not the best at taking care of plants! That’s why I always go with artificial trees (LOL)!

Our White Christmas Tree

This white Christmas tree is from Balsam Hill. It’s called the “Denali White tree”. You can see how pretty it is in the pictures, but I think it looks even prettier in person! Mine is the 9 foot one, and it’s sold out right now, but the 6 foot Denali White tree is still available. Another high quality tree I like is the Pre Lit Faux Winchester White Pine tree from West Elm. For a lower price, this pre lit white fir tree from Wayfair is a pretty option too.

This tree puts on the most magical twinkly light show with so many color combinations, especially at night. I love it! No matter which option you choose, artificial or real, there are so many ways to make your Christmas tree look glam.

White Christmas Tree Or Flocked Christmas Tree?

If you want a glamorous Christmas tree, I’d start with either a flocked tree or a white tree. You can make a traditional green tree look glam too! But white and flocked trees give you a big head start.

A white Christmas tree never goes out of style. It reminds me of fresh snow, and it’s such a pretty way to decorate for the holidays. White trees also work with a classic look, or you can make it totally yours with color. Here are some ideas for decorating a white Christmas tree:

Wrap the tree in string lights for lots of sparkle.

There is nothing worse than spending hours setting up your Christmas tree, only to find out the lights don’t work. Save yourself the headache with a prelit tree that’s easy to set up. You’ll enjoy decorating so much more without tangled lights or wonky branches. Here are a few tips for choosing the right prelit tree:

Look for a tree with easy instructions. You shouldn’t need an engineering degree to set it up!
Make sure the tree is well made, with sturdy branches and a solid stand.
Choose a size that fits your space. A tree that’s too big or too small throws off the whole room.
Pay attention to the lights. LED lights use less energy and last longer.
Ask friends or family who have prelit trees what they like. They might have great suggestions.

Next, think about size. Mix a few big blooms, like peonies or magnolias, with smaller roses so the flowers don’t overpower the tree. I use faux flowers because they stay pretty all season. If you want fresh flowers, choose ones that hold up in winter, like amaryllis or holly, and swap them out as needed.

I chose a light pink ribbon since my ornaments and flowers are all light pink.
Let the ribbon flow down the tree in loose cascades instead of wrapping it tight.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of Christmas tree toppers. I like to come up with different ideas for the top of our tree.

Finally, add your personal style to your Christmas tree. By personal style, I mean the colors, textures and patterns your friends and family know you for! For example, I love soft, bright colors.

I usually stay away from darker colors like dark brown, black or dark gray. I also love animal prints, fruit prints, stripes and checkered patterns. Most of my friends and family can “predict” how I’ll decorate our Christmas tree and Thanksgiving table (LOL). That’s exactly what I mean by personal style.

Glittered branches and sprays fill the empty spots on a tree so fast. I tuck pink branches deep into the tree and let a few stick out past the tips, so the tree looks fuller and has more texture. Push them in at an angle and spread them around the whole tree, not just the front.

Lights make a glam tree glow. A simple rule I go by is about 100 lights for every foot of tree, so a 7 foot tree looks best with around 700 lights. Warm white lights make blush, gold and champagne ornaments look so pretty. If your tree is prelit and still looks a little dark, add a strand or two and tuck them deep toward the trunk.

12. Mix Different Shades Of Pink

A pink tree looks so much richer when you use more than one shade. I mix blush, light pink and a few deeper rose pink Christmas ornaments so the tree has depth. If you want an ombre look, put the darker pinks near the bottom and let them fade to the lightest blush at the top.
