With the coronavirus pandemic affecting people all around the world, this Easter feels so different! Since every store, restaurant and most businesses are closed, it may not feel like Easter at all! However, Easter is right around the corner.

As we all know by now, the best social distancing practice is to STAY AT HOME. Unfortunately, all large gatherings should be off the table this year. But people may still like to cook for themselves or for their families.

Perhaps more than ever, it is important for families (especially families with kids) to provide a sense of stability and “normality” around the holidays at home. That’s why I’ve put together some quick and easy Easter decoration ideas to do at home!

Easy Easter Decoration Ideas to Try at Home

Regardless of your relationship status or family situation, I’m going to share some quick and easy tips to decorate your house and your Easter table setting in this post!

Easy Tips to Decorate Your Home & Your Table for Easter

1-If you have a backyard, setup up your table outside so you can enjoy some fresh air while enjoying your Easter meal!

2- Brighten up your home’s entry with a colorful Easter wreath.

3- Make some colorful flower arrangement(s). My favorite flower for Easter are tulips, peonies, lilies and daffodils.

4- Decorate your kitchen, brunch table, living room, bathroom or your bedroom with some colorful Easter eggs!

5- Easter egg candles are always a great addition to your decor.

6- Tea cup flower vases are my favorite little decor for spring (especially for the Easter brunch).

7- A layered look is one of my favorite looks for any holiday table setting. From modern to classic or to vintage-inspired place settings, this simple, layered look is lovely for Easter.

8- Arrange some fresh tulips and add some candles or your favorite picture frame around it.

9- Hang some Easter eggs on decorative branches at home.

10- Nest Eggs: Birds and birds’ nests are symbolic of Easter. Easter eggs in nests symbolize a new beginning, hope and happiness. They are among the most popular decorations for Easter.

So there you have my favorite and easy Easter decoration ideas to enjoy at home!

There is no doubt that the world is experiencing a pandemic that is oblivious to many of the things we (humans) hold dear to us: family, economy, borders, and culture.  However, I believe that it has also created a new way for us to spend quality time together with our families and children, even though friends and extended family may be physically apart.

If you want more ideas on fun things to do with the kids at home, take a look at my recent post on just that!

But really, I’m so happy to see in the face of this crisis, people have come together to develop volunteer networks and give one another messages of love. Let’s pray, keep our hopes up and stay positive! We are all in this together and we’ll get out of it together!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Love,

Sherry, xoxo
