Happy Black Friday everyone!!!! I hope you had a relaxing Thanksgiving Day and enjoyed some awesome food and family time! Thanksgiving is a great day to pause and remind ourselves about all the wonderful things we have in life! However, Thanksgiving should not be the only day in the entire year to be thankful! Since most of us forget to stay thankful on a daily basis, we should at least use November to be thankful, and take time to remember and embrace those who enrich our lives.

You do not have to buy very expensive gifts to show love and appreciation toward people that you love and care about. You can buy something simple but thoughtful! For example, I received a beautiful Christmas ornament a couple of years ago with my little girl’s name on it. That gift was so special to me that I will never forget who gave it to me. That is what I mean by a “thoughtful” gift.

Some people love the excitement of shopping on Black Friday. They do not mind standing in long lines to get their favorite new release TV, Nespresso machine, boots, jackets, home décors… which is awesome! I love the excitement of Black Friday shopping too. HOWEVER, since we owned an Italian shoe store at the mall for almost 13 years, I worked super long hours on Black Friday and watched the true shopping madness!!! Hahaha! For that reason, I am not that interested to go to the malls on this specific day! Especially this year with Covid-19, many stores and malls are already closed. If they are open, I do not believe it is a good idea to go to crowded public places to shop and put your health at risk.

I am happy to sit in my comfy Christmas Pjs at home, sip on my coffee, listen to my favorite Christmas songs and shop online while I can relax and hangout with my family!
