The Crate & Barrel Labor Day Outdoor Pieces I’m Actually Buying

I always wait for Labor Day to make outdoor purchases, because this is when Crate & Barrel actually marks their good pieces down instead of just the leftovers.

The Blume swivel accent chair is the one I would grab first. It has that Art Deco tulip shape and swivels in the round, which makes it a lot more versatile than a stationary chair.

For the floor I like the Tavira rug in blue. It has that faded, antique-inspired pattern that reads more collected than new, which I think matters a lot in outdoor spaces where everything else tends to look a little too matchy.

The Seguin table lamp in brass is technically an indoor piece but I have used it on a covered porch before, and the tulip base with the white linen shade looks expensive without actually being that expensive.

I threw in the Le Creuset mini cocotte and the Craft stoneware pedestal because Labor Day is also when I stock up on entertaining pieces. The chambray blue on the cocotte is one of my favorite colors they make.

The Saabira planter in taupe is a repeat purchase for me, I already have two and I am adding a third. It has that concrete look without the actual weight of concrete, so it is easy to move around.

The Abaco swivel lounge chair and storage chest are part of the same collection, so they are meant to sit together, and the storage chest doubles as a coffee table which is genuinely useful for a small patio.

Last is the Cobden umbrella with the Felix wicker base by Jake Arnold, which is the priciest thing on this list but also the piece I have gotten the most compliments on. The wicker base doubles as a side table so it is not just dead weight holding up an umbrella.
