Fall Lipstick Shades at Every Price
I’m such a big lipstick person, and fall is when I put the bright pinks away and go straight for berries, browns, and deep reds.I built this one low to high so you can find your shade at whatever price you want to spend.

The L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in 590 Blushing Berry is the one I would tell anyone to start with at $7.99. It is a soft berry that works on almost everyone, and the satin finish means you do not have to be precise with it.
The Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipstick in 50 Wicked is what I would wear on a long day when I know I am not going to reapply.
Wicked is a deep vampy shade and that formula genuinely stays put through coffee. The Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil is my everyday, and I keep one in my bag at all times.
It gives that just bitten color without the commitment of a full lipstick, and I put it on when my lips feel dry. The MAC MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy is the shade I always come back to.
Velvet Teddy is the neutral beige brown that works with a brown liner and nothing else, and this new formula is much more comfortable than the old matte was.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution is the one I put on when I want to feel put together with no other makeup on, and the Hourglass Unlocked Satin Creme Lipstick is the nicest bullet to actually hold, which matters more to me than I expected.
Pat McGrath Labs MatteTrance has the best color payoff of anything in this group, and I only need one pass. The Dior Rouge Dior Refillable Lipstick in 434 Promenade is the splurge, and I do think a refillable case is worth it if you finish lipsticks.
My honest advice is to pick one everyday shade and one deeper shade for nights and stop there, because a lipstick you actually wear beats five sitting in a drawer.
