How to Add Easter Home Decor Magic with a Little Help from Arizona Fireplaces
This year, Easter home decor felt extra special, maybe because it was the first holiday back in our newly renovated home, or perhaps because I finally had the chance to style a space I’ve dreamed about for months. Haha! Either way, our fireplace quickly became the heart of the whole look. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know we just moved back into our home after months of renovation chaos.

There are still boxes everywhere; I haven’t found half my vases, and don’t even get me started on the kitchen pantry. But somehow, I managed to decorate our fireplace for Easter (lol). And I’m not even exaggerating when I say it became the focal point of the entire living room.
I know, it sounds crazy… But I was craving something that felt finished, even if just one little corner of our home. And for me, that corner was our brand-new Arizona Fireplaces fireplace.

It’s the first thing you see when you walk into the house, and I absolutely love it! Between the stone surround and the modern linear flame, it already looked like everything I’d imagined, even without a single bunny in sight (haha). But once I added in our Easter touches… it became the official centerpiece of our spring decor.
So, if you’re decorating a fireplace for Easter or just want a little seasonal inspiration, here’s exactly how I styled ours, the pieces I used, and a few tips to create something fresh, festive, and elegant (even if you’re living out of boxes, like we are)!
Step 1: Choose Colors That Speak Spring

My color palette this year:
- Lavender and periwinkle blues
- Crisp whites
- Touches of blush pink
This year’s Easter color palette felt a little different from what I usually go for, and honestly, I loved it. I’m typically all about soft pinks and pastels around this time of year, spring! However, since our fireplace surround is warm and neutral, I wanted something soft and fresh that would stand out without clashing.
I opted for richer spring shades, such as lavender and periwinkle blue, paired with crisp whites and a few soft blush accents. It still felt light and pretty, but had a little more personality. The deeper tones worked so well with everything else in the space. The white brought in the brightness I needed, and the cooler tones were a nice contrast to some of the warmer details in the room.

I styled around the fireplace using things I already had, including floral branches, a ceramic bunny, and a little egg tree I’ve kept for the past couple of years. It’s interesting to see how just a few small pieces can significantly alter the overall ambiance of a room. I didn’t go overboard, but even those little touches made it feel festive and pulled together. Color can completely change the mood of a space, and this year’s palette felt exactly right. Not too sweet, not too bold, just happy, pretty, and easy to live with.
Step 2: Style the Mantel With Volume and Texture

The top of the mantel is one of the easiest and most impactful spots to decorate, especially for a holiday like Easter. It’s the perfect place to bring in color, texture, and those little whimsical touches that make everything feel special without overwhelming the space.
I started with a long floral garland as the base. I wanted it to feel full and layered, not flat or too uniform. The garland featured a mix of blue hydrangeas, white peonies, soft lavender stems, and a variety of greenery to create a wild, garden feel. I loved how the blues and purples complemented the rest of the color palette, adding a spring feel without being too predictable.

To make it feel more Easter-specific, I tucked in some decorative eggs, gold accents, hand-painted elements, and a few with little floral appliqués. They weren’t placed perfectly or evenly; I just nestled them into the garland in a way that felt natural and a little playful. That bit of unexpected detail is what makes it fun.
Texture is a significant part of what brought the whole look to life. I mixed in velvet floral petals for a soft, plush feel, added a touch of metallic shimmer to catch the light, and balanced it all with soft greenery to keep it grounded and organic.
TIP: If you’re using faux florals, try to mix different bloom sizes and textures. Think larger statement flowers with smaller filler blooms, paired with greenery and a few trailing or wispy elements. It makes the whole arrangement feel more realistic and adds that cozy, collected vibe without trying too hard.
Step 3: Style the Area Around the Fireplace

Because our fireplace sits low to the ground and has that clean, modern look without a traditional hearth, I decided to decorate the space around the base instead. Think of it as a little Easter moment, like a simple spring display that draws the eye without cluttering the room.
I started with a white ceramic bunny basket. I filled it with soft fabric eggs tied with tiny bows and tucked in a few mini faux florals to give it a fresh, springy feel. It looked so charming sitting right next to the fireplace.
In the corner, I grouped a few matte white ceramic bunnies in different heights. I love mixing different sizes; it creates a layered look without needing a lot of items.

Then I brought out this gold tree branch piece I’ve used for different holidays in the past. It’s one of those items I’ll probably never get rid of because it works for everything (haha). I hung three fabric-decorated Easter eggs from the branches, which added a playful, whimsical touch without being too cutesy. It brought just enough height and interest to the space without overwhelming the setup.
I kept everything in the same soft color family—whites, blush, a touch of gold, so it all felt cohesive with the rest of the room. It also blended beautifully with the warmth of the fireplace and the hardwood floors. The whole thing felt light and pretty, but still pulled together effortlessly.
Step 4: Add a Pop to the Coffee Table

To create a cohesive feel throughout the space, I brought the same Easter color palette over to the coffee table in front of the fireplace. I used a couple of clear glass vases, one filled with fresh florals and the other with faux blooms in those richer spring tones like lavender and periwinkle.
I also added a white ceramic bunny dish and filled it with metallic Easter eggs in gold and rose gold tones. It added a slight shimmer and kept things feeling fun without going overboard. I also used a small bunny-shaped planter and tucked in a few jeweled eggs in gold and pearl finishes. It was just a slight accent, but it tied in perfectly with the rest of the colors I used throughout the room, such as the blush, lavender, and soft whites on the mantel and floor.

TIP: When styling a coffee table for the season, a trio setup is always a great choice. Try to mix three elements with different heights and textures, something low (like a floral arrangement), something playful (like a decorative bunny or seasonal accent), and something with a bit of shine or contrast (like metallic eggs or candles). It adds just enough visual interest to the table without making it feel cluttered.
Keeping this area in the same color family as the rest of the room helped everything flow naturally. It felt festive and stylish, but still cozy and livable, which is always my goal.
Step 5: Let the Fireplace Do Its Thing

What I love about this fireplace, (besides how good it looks), is how it adds to the whole vibe of the room without needing a ton of extra styling. The design is sleek and modern, so even when it’s off, it still pulls the space together in a beautiful way.
The real magic, though, is in the flame. It’s not just the usual yellow-orange flicker; it has different settings you can play with. You can switch the flame colors depending on the mood you want. For Easter, I used the soft lavender-blue setting, and it looked so pretty with the rest of the decor. The glow added just the right amount of warmth without being too much. And if you want something cozy at night or just want to change things up for a dinner party or a quiet evening, you can easily switch it to a warmer tone or something more dramatic. It completely changes the feel of the room.
I also love that even when the fireplace isn’t on, it still looks good. The clean lines and modern look give it that polished, finished feel, even if you don’t add a single thing around it. And when it’s on, the whole room just instantly feels cozier and more pulled together, without you doing a thing. So, whether you want to style around it or just let it be the focal point, the fireplace really does its thing. It adds style, mood, and that little bit of glow that makes everything feel more special.
