Long Sleeve Midi Dresses I’m Wearing All Fall

I’m such a big midi dress person once the weather turns, and a long sleeve one is the easiest thing in my closet to get dressed in. The two I would start with are the Quince Cotton Cashmere Ribbed Long Sleeve Crew Midi Dress in mocha heather and the V-Neck version in heather oatmeal.

I could not pick between the necklines, the crew feels more polished and the V-neck feels softer on me, so I am linking both at $69.90 and you can go with whichever one suits your everyday better. That cotton cashmere rib is the fabric I want for school pickup, errands, and dinner on the same day without changing.

When I want something a little heavier I go for the Free People Hollis Sweater Midi Dress in carafe. Carafe is that deep warm brown I keep gravitating toward instead of black, and a sweater dress like this is what I wear when it is genuinely cold and I still do not want to think about an outfit. The Free People Isla Long Sleeve Midi Dress in black is the one I would save for dinners and holiday things, because it has more shape to it and it does not need much styling.

The Madewell Long-Sleeve Polo Midi Dress in deep aubergine is the one I would grab first while it is $109.99 down from $138. It is final sale, so I would size carefully, but aubergine with brown accessories is such a good fall combination and I do not see that color often.

I style all of these the same way. Steve Madden Riggs Knee High Boots go with every one of them, and a knee high boot with a midi hem is the proportion that always looks intentional to me.

Then I add the Quince Italian Leather Convertible Crescent Shoulder Bag in cognac, which I like because you can wear it short on the shoulder or crossbody when your hands are full. One dress, one boot, one bag, and I am out the door. If you only buy one thing for fall, I think a long sleeve midi dress gets more wear than anything else.
