Labor Day Sale Fashion Picks I Would Actually Buy
I do most of my fall shopping over Labor Day weekend, because the pieces I actually want are finally marked down before I need them. Everything in this collage is on sale, and these are the ones I would put in my own cart first.
The J.Crew Barn Jacket in Cotton Canvas in honey brown is $111.99 down from $278, and a barn jacket is the layer I live in from September through November. I wear mine over a sweater with jeans on weekends, and honey brown is warmer than the olive everyone reaches for.
The J.Crew Ribbed Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater at $177.99 is the piece I would wear the most out of all of these. I like a ribbed turtleneck under a blazer or on its own with trousers, and cashmere at this price is worth grabbing while it lasts.
For shoes, the J.Crew Piper Ankle Boots in Suede in rich toffee are $225.99 down from $278. I always tell people a brown suede boot works harder than a black one in fall, because it pulls the whole outfit warmer.
The St. John Cotton Poplin Button-Up Shirt in classic white at $250.20 down from $695 is the biggest markdown here. I wear a crisp white shirt under sweaters with just the collar and cuffs showing, and a well made one keeps that shape all day instead of going limp by noon.
