Cute Summer Tops I’m Wearing on Repeat Right Now
Cute summer tops are honestly the easiest way to refresh a wardrobe without buying a bunch of new bottoms, so here’s what’s been in my cart lately. The Beach Riot chevron sweater sounds heavy for summer but it’s actually lightweight, it’s more of a cover-up you throw over a swimsuit or wear with linen shorts at night when it cools down.
The polka dot linen top is a full outfit on its own with white jeans, easy, breathable, done. Anthropologie’s cutwork sun top is the kind of detail piece that makes a basic outfit feel intentional, the texture alone does most of the work.
I’m also into a couple of structured tops from Bloomingdale’s right now, the taffeta cropped top has actual shape to it, which is a nice contrast if you’ve been living in soft linen all summer, and the striped strapless top is an easy layer under a blazer or on its own for a night out.
Sunglasses tie the whole roundup together since summer basically doesn’t happen for me without a good pair, and the tortoise frames go with every single thing on this list. None of these require a special occasion, they’re just good tops that make getting dressed easier on a random Tuesday or a Friday night out. I’ve been mixing and matching all of these with denim, white pants, and even swimsuits underneath, so the cost per wear on every piece here is genuinely great.
