My Fall Kitchen Decor And Counter Styling
My fall kitchen decor never changes much, I just swap in a few warm pieces and let the counters do the work. The Lulu and Georgia Villers compote bowls come as a set of two, and they are what I fill first, usually with pears or small gourds. A footed bowl gives you height on a flat counter, and that is the trick that makes a counter look styled instead of crowded.

The Pottery Barn glass pumpkin lidded bowl is the piece people always ask about. I keep candy in mine near the coffee maker and it still reads as decor. The Pottery Barn pumpkin pie home scent goes in the first week of September, and it is warm without smelling like a candle store. The Lulu and Georgia Darcia bowl is the shallow one I drop my rings into while I cook, and the Coperta bowl is deeper, so that one holds fruit.
I like having both because the shapes are different enough that they do not look repetitive sitting next to each other. For the working parts of the kitchen, the Williams Sonoma autumn plaid oven mitt and potholder set is the small swap that changes the whole room. Plaid in a kitchen reads fall without going costume.
The Williams Sonoma mini pumpkin vase filler is what I scatter around, a few in a bowl, a few on the windowsill, a couple under glass. Speaking of, the Pottery Barn pumpkin glass cloche with wood pedestal is my favorite thing in this group.
A cloche makes whatever is under it look intentional, and I move mine to the dining table when people come over. The Fallon pumpkin is the finishing piece, and it stays out from September through Thanksgiving. None of this is a project. It is nine things and about twenty minutes.
